THE DEATH BOWL
Grand Junction, CO - 2022
In the Summer of 2022, we were hired by the City of Grand Junction to paint an 80’ skatepark bowl at Westlake Skatepark. The project was an incredible opportunity and was painted over the course of four long days. To paint the mural, Shane created a new tool, which incorporated an extender pole with a double brush attached. On the last day, the skatepark hosted a skateboard competition, and it was a pleasure to watch experienced skaters ride the freshly painted bowl. To watch a video of the process, click here.
INFRASOUND PT. 2
Minnesota - 2022
In the Fall of 2022, we were invited back to Infrasound music festival to paint another art installation. As always, we were grateful for such an excellent opportunity, and Shane chose to go with a monochromatic color scheme of blues for this years mural. The text reads “Infrasound,” and was painted over the course of the weekend.
TRUSTED TATTOO
Oceanside, CA - 2022
We were given the honor to paint the main wall of Trusted Tattoo, a tattoo parlor in Oceanside, California. The project was painted over the course of 7 days, and was an incredible experience filled with lots of laughs, adventures, and new friends. There were two doors on the wall, and Shane made an effort to not let them hinder the composition. If you are interested in a similar mural for your tattoo studio, please reach out!
IKONIK - MAIN WALL
Lakewood, CO - 2022
We had the pleasure of painting four murals at Ikonik Ink Tattoo Studio in Lakewood. The first wall was titled “Main Wall" and was the largest of the four. Shane included the company’s core-value words in each of the murals to give each installation a personalized feel for the client.
SOCIETY
Denver, CO - 2022
Taking a break from the circles, we painted a mural comprised of layers of horizontal text for the entrance of Society, a co-operative business incorporating a music venue, restaurant, yoga studio, and more. We included the company’s core value words within the entirety of the mural, imbuing the walls of the entrance with their ideals. To view a video of this mural’s process, click here.
IKONIK - EXIT WALL
Lakewood, CO - 2022
Our second wall for Ikonik Ink, titled “Exit Wall.” This installation was unique because it was a wall that spanned between two rooms. Shane chose the circular composition to bring the two rooms together, and to create a continuation effect between the spaces.
SPARK DISPENSARY
Denver, CO - 2022
In the Winter of 2022, we were given the incredible opportunity to paint the ceiling of Spark Dispensary’s new location in Denver. The space is one of a kind and comprised of some of Denver’s best artists. It was an honor to be chosen for this, and we have to give a big thank you to Rubezilla for selecting Shane for the curation of the space.
IKONIK - STAIRSTEP WALL

The “Stairstep Wall” was our third installation for Ikonik Ink, named after the unique shape of the wall. Shane chose a circular layout to play with continuation, and leading to a more visually interesting composition.
IKONIK - ENTRY WALL
Lakewood, CO - 2022
The “Entry Wall” was our fourth, and final wall for Ikonik Ink, and was at the front entrance of the tattoo studio. This wall featured different techniques than the others and was created with a blend of abstract calligraphy and legible scripts, reading “Ikonik Ink Family.” If you’re looking for an art installation to personalize your business, please reach out!
SECRET WALLS
Denver, CO - 2022
In the Summer of 2022, we were delighted to have Shane be chosen to compete in Secret Walls, a mural competition in front of a live audience. Shane was partnered with local muralist, Cuttyup, to create a well-composed mural in 90 minutes using only the color black. We ended up winning first in the competition, and we had the pleasure of meeting and being judged by none other than Amuse 126. The completed mural was auctioned off to the highest bidder and added to a digital gallery in the metaverse.
BOULDER CREEK FEST
Boulder, CO - 2022
A picnic table that we painted for Boulder Creek Fest, a festival in Boulder, CO. The bench was painted over the course of a single day and has now been rehomed to Avanti Boulder for customers to eat on. This was a wonderful experience, and we had a great first time at the festival!
DENVER BANNERS
Denver, CO - 2022
In the Spring of 2022, we had the pleasure of being hired by the City of Denver to paint five banners that were to be hung in various places downtown. Shane chose a different color scheme for each banner, and painted lettering reading, “Denver” on each side.
